On Connectivity Failure
In the event of a connectivity failure at the primary data center, how should Q2 fail over to your secondary data center?
Automated Failover / Automated Fail Back
This setting will provide the same Automated Failover as described above, but fail back will happen automatically as soon as connectivity is restored.
NOTE:
Automated failover requires the ability for servers at the DR site to accept connections automatically and without manual approval
Manual Failover
This setting requires your IT team to contact the Q2 IOC to manually failover between your data centers.
Automated Failover / Manual Fail Back
This automates the failover between data centers. In the event of an internet or connectivity outage to your primary data center, the connection will fail over to the secondary data center within a few minutes without any action. In order to fail back to the primary data center, your IT team must contact the Q2 IOC.
